Happy Nov... :)

It's been so long since I last blogged. Been really busy lately... Just submitted my 2005 appraisal to my boss today. It's really tough writing my own appraisal and giving myself grades. Basically A means there's exceptional performance. B means exceeds expectations. And C is actually- meeting target. Hmm... but C sounds like a really low grade... dialema... Well, it's tough filling the paper up. Anyway, I'm only 4 mths into the job so there isn't too much to write or grade... ;)

Last week, there were 2 public holidays. Didn't go anywhere, but was staying at home and resting most of the time... During this period, I watched some movies on TV, some movies I taped as well as some dvd movies my colleagues lent me. Basically, all these movies I watched wasn't really v wow... so it was quite a waste of time. :p Hmm... Anyway, what did I watch... 'Pleasantville', 'Bridget Jones II: Edge of Reason', 'How to lose a guy in 10 days', 'School of Rock', 'Initial D', 'Ong Bak', 'Swordfish'... ranked in order of preference... nicest first. But will give the nicest only 3 stars... hee hee...

A really nice dvd I watched was a documetary, not a movie. It's this dvd Zonghe sent back from USA about Hearst Castle... It's a really wonderful documentary, depicting the story of how the Hearst Family accumulated wealth and the process of building the castle.. How he worked hard and only built up his dream castle when he was old enough, mature enough... He wasn't in a hurry to build it. He took his time n gave it special planning and design and all... So the bottom line is, don't just dream, build on it... But resources play an impt part too... I guess it's about determination and also hardwork and living your dream. :) I really enjoyed this documentary. Thanks dear... :)

On Hari Raya Puasa, I met up with Pei Yun... We went to Chinatown for dim sum and also some shopping. :) Been such a long time since we last met and it's really fun to spend time w her! :) She's all the way in Japan now, attending a Tourism Conference... representing Bizad and after she's back, she'll fly off to South Africa for almost one month! :) Wow! And congrats on securing a job, Pei Yun. Well done!!! :)

The last weekend (Sat), I went for Bizad 40th Birthday Anniversary Dinner with Hong Jin, Janice, Hoiki... V fun filled dinner and the food was not bad. The highlight of it all was winning this lucky draw prize. Totally cool... Before we entered into the ballroom, we were told to drop in a name card into this fish bowl for a lucky draw later. So I did... Really didn't expect to win! The price was a Nokia hp and I gave it to my youngest brother. :) All my 3 brothers loved this new phone and all of them wanted it. But since Gor and Drrsk both got new hp q recently, decided to give to Bibsk instead. :) So, Bibsk's happy, we're all happy! :)

I've been doing some exercising too... Playing badminton on Sunday morning and jogging about twice a week after work. Trying to lose weight. Put on so much weight after I've started work...

And.. sadly, my computer sort of died... It refuses to start up... Could be the motherboard problem or could be the CPU... Hopefully we can get the parts replaced soon.

Hence, once I get home after work, I don't come online much anymore... I've to borrow other's computer... And somemore, I've been starring at the monitor the whole day, won't wanna sit in front of the comp anymore. ;)

That's why I've not been blogging for so long now. :) Hope to blog again soon...
